Lisbon CommUnity Kick-Off - Circular Economy

Every year, as new students arrive in Lisbon to enrol in their InnoEnergy Master's at IST, the Local CommUnity of Lisbon organises a Kick-off Event in order to introduce them to the CommUnity and provide them with the chance to meet their peers, fellow Alumni and introduce them to potential employers.

This year we are celebrating the Ecology Day, from Portuguese Society of Ecology. Thus, an online session addressing Circular Economy opens this new year that is ahead of us. Sustainability is a major driver to push for circular economy, do and have more with less.

The online session includes an introduction to CU and its local and topic communities. Then, the Portuguese Zero Waste Lab organisation that acts on circular economy projects around the country are invited to present their projects and activism opportunities as well as to tell more about the importance of circular economy for the future. We will also have InnoEnergy Alumni who are building their careers in Circular Economy to tell their experience from InnoEnergy student to Professional around the topic. To end the session, there is going to be a Kahoot Session for chat and drinks.
